All Done!

My next appointment at the clinic is in December, 2008!

The vet decided that it would be better for me to sit on Mum's lap whilst I had my chip fitted today. I was soooooo good! I didn't even flinch when she gave me the rabies jab. She calls me her 'chicatita' and gave me a sweetie afterwards.

I think that I'm going to miss her.

Will I Sleep?

Mum says that I have five minutes before she sends me off to my bed. I'm sorry if this post is a bit rushed but she's standing over me. Grrrr.........I really hate being watched!

It's a clinic day tomorrow which means a rabies jab and a microchip. Even Dad says that it has to be done but he won't be there nor suffer the pain!

I have been promised a run around in the Church Square after though. Mum found a red ball earlier in the week that used to belong to Top. I feel really proud to call it mine as I know how much she loved him. How good would it have been if we could have chased it together.

Christmas!!

I don't like it. The oldies have been on about it for days. Turkey this and turkey that. I never saw one and I'm a hunting dog!

Then they ditched me!

I've been here all day on my own without a cracker in sight and then they turn up giggling.

No wonder that I look so sad.

Skinflint!

Mum gave Dad a list to take to the supermarket this afternoon for some last minute things we needed for Christmas. He had a bit of a moan when he saw Quality Street on there but Mum says that it isn't Christmas without a tin on the coffee table.

She did whisper to me that he would probably come back and say that they didn't have any but to our surprise he bought a tin!

Do they really make them that small?

Nasty Man

I was sitting quite nicely next to Mum's feet today when this chap turned up. It seems that he was an authority on the training of Cocker Spaniels. (I'm one of them!) My ears pricked up but I didn't much like what I heard.

He said that if I didn't stay when told, Mum had to pick me up by the scruff of the neck and shake me! It appears that all gun dogs need this type of training. Thankfully, the only guns that I see are carried by the Guardia Civil and rabbits don't pass by every day.

Mum bore with it until he'd gone and then gave me a big hug. I knew she didn't like him!

My Mess!

Mum is having a real bad time with floor tiles and my fur. She sweeps and then when she mops this is what happens. Where does it hide?

I know it isn't nice for her but what can I do about it when I'm moulting?

Do you think that if I have a quiet word in Dad's ear that he'll buy her a hoover for Christmas!

One of These Days...........

..........I will be able to report that I've been a really good girl. Not today though!

Dad went off to work this morning whilst Mum was still asleep. I did try to wake her but she wasn't having it. I had some breakfast and a drink of water and then played with my toys for a little while. What next?

Then I remembered that wire I had so much fun with last week. Even though Joe gave me some doggy advice, I still chewed my way through it. Three pieces this time! Clever me!

Mum was more cross with Dad than with me as he should have secured it properly. Poor him, when she's angry look out!

My Fan Club

When Mum and I go for our morning walk we always see these three ladies sunning themselves on their terrace. It's one of the highlights of my day as they think I'm beautiful and all I need to do is sit and smile. Little do they know that I run riot again as soon as I get around the corner!

Things are hotting up as far as training is concerned because I only have a month left to complete MY LIST. Mum says that it is going really well and it's just the jumping up at people and the lead pulling bit that need attention. Happen I'll get a prize or one of Tully's stars.

Oh Dear!

I don't think I'll be forgiven so easily this time. Mum went out with Caron the other afternoon leaving me home alone. I so hate sitting around waiting for her to come back. There was a wire thingy that looked interesting and it didn't take me long to pull it away from the wall. It looked so much better in two pieces. Very satisfactory.

How was I to know that it had something to do with telephones and the Internet? Thankfully, Dad came home today and fixed it. Sheesh.

I Have Ages Yet

I've had such a brilliant time at home with Mum. All I have to do is pull on my lead and she is in such a strop. Running riot isn't in it..........such fun. She does give me the odd smack but do I care?

I was a little taken aback when she said that she would tell Dad, but that won't worry me as he won't be back for ages. Anyway, he'll be so pleased to see me that he won't care what I've done. Well, I don't think he will. Oh, dear, happen I best behave just in case.
