Gone Again

I know what suitcases are now and as soon as I saw Auntie Shona packing hers I knew that she was going to leave me again.

We had fun. Walks, cuddles and playtimes. She brought a knotted rope thingy and a squeaky toy for me and although I love the rope the squeaky is scary. They all thought it was well funny when I ran under the sofa every time anyone touched it. One toy that will never get ruined!

Love her to bits and I hope she comes back soon xxx

Frightening

As it was well hot on Friday Mum, Dad and Auntie Shona decided to leave me home whilst they went out for an all-day breakfast.

I don't know what happened but I felt really funny and my legs wouldn't work properly. I couldn't get as far as my water bowl. By the time they came home I was shaking and couldn't walk. Dad and Auntie Shona took turns to carry me to the vets. Not easy as I weigh more than ten kilos.

Being an 'emergency' I went straight in and was still staggering once they put me down onto the floor. (I did manage to crawl as far as the biscuit cupboard though!) The vet wasn't quite sure what my problem was and decided to take a blood sample............flippin' needles and I had to have my leg shaved!

Dad took me back to the vet's again on Saturday morning for the results. Nothing conclusive. My heart is alright and so are my other organs but she can't rule out epilepsy. If it happens again I have to go straight back and then I'll get treatment. In the meantime, I'm not allowed out in the afternoon.

Mum is worrying and I'm frightened.

Time

I don't really understand days, months and years as it all seems the same to me. Walks, play, food and sleep happen just when I want them to.

Something is afoot though and I'm sure that it's almost time for Auntie Shona to turn up. Mum is giving Dad grief about the amount of books that are cluttering up the spare room yet again. I'm in the clear as all my things are in my toy box! He isn't a bit bothered as he's working all week.............not his problem!

Boring

Dad is working and I really hate it. I'm crossing my legs at the door before Mum gets around to taking me out and then she never lets me off the lead. She reckons that I wouldn't come back but how can she know if she doesn't try it?

Sorry Mum, I know you can be well funny at times and I did promise not to breathe a word, but, I can't resist telling my mates about you crawling under the window shutter this evening! I could see your bum!!
